IBM and the Holocaust

Yesterday I posted about IBM wanting to building a smarter planet. But IBM (like a lot of other buisnesses and corporations) is not the angel they make out to be. You may or may not know that IBM (and other companies) had helped Hitler’s extreme Jewish eradication regime during WW2. Yeah IBM is directly responsible and had a hand in helping Hitler eradicate Jews. If you have the balls to red about it you should get your hands on a copy of IBM and the Holocaust by Edwin Black.
Another book worth reading, also by Edwin Black, is Nazi Nexus, a book about how American corporations did business with and profited from the Nazis.
If you for whatever reason can’t read or find the time to read the afore mentioned books then at least buy the audio version of IBM and the Holocaust. GNN have also produced a documentary about IBM and the Holocaust that is well worth watching.
I would also highly recommend buying a DVD called The Corporation. A documentary that “explores the nature and spectacular rise of the dominant institution of our time.” Edwin Black appears in the film and talks about IBMs involvement in the Holocaust.
