There is no other better place to hold a stencil festival other than Melbourne the street art capital of the world. I would go so far as to say Melbourne is the street art capital of this ever expanding universe or at least this side of the milky way. I could bang on all day about how healthy street art is and how great Melbourne is but I digress… Instead just hit up the Melbourne Stencil Festival 2006 web site and be sure to check it.

Has an awesome web site that I came across the other day. I bet you have seen Reka’s work about, it’s hard to miss.

I forgot to add my old street art gallery to the list of links I posted before.

The gallery there was getting rather large and I had taken over 100 photos with my camera phone (and there is no way I’m going to send each picture one by one to my PC!) so I decided it was high time I made a blog specifically for Melbourne street art/street culture.
So the next day after deleting all the photos on my phone I tripped into the city with my dSLR camera and proceeded to fill up my 1 GB CF card, which holds ~200 JPG photos at the highest quality. I’m going to have to purchase another bigger CF card for my camera it only took me about 45 minutes to fill my 1 GB CF card.
That night I spent the whole night designing this site. In a few days this blog was born from idea to existence.
