NTRABEATZ PRESENTZ: MAMPI SWIFT + MC IC3 - CUP EVE!
The prolific “Mampi Swift” aka Phil Anim, formally known as Swift. The addition of “Mampi” to his name not being coincidental; the term meaning “big, strong and quick” depicts everything about him from his pure pyhsique to his amazing “double-dropping” djing skills.
Head Honcho of the much respected Charge Recordings, Mampi first releases of “Twisted” followed by “Feel Good” in 1997 were massive hits in the UK and rapidly spread worldwide. Swift enjoyed the success of his first two tracks but it was his third, “The One” that earned him recognized fame throughout the world. You could not be in the scene and not know of Mampi Swift after that.
Despite his success, Mampi Swift has not lost touch with the music with recent releases being pure dancefloor bombs. Swift describes his style as “plain rolling” - the catchy beats being a key element to his overall sound, it’s the unique distorted basslines that people notice.
Currently, on a worldwide tour, Mampi Swift will be touching down in Melbourne for the very first time and one thing’s for sure, Mampi Swift’s DJing skills are not to be missed as he will showcase a diverse spectrum of quality sound.
Accompanying him, will be no other than Mampi’s partner in crime, the versatile MC IC3 guaranteeing a high energy extravanganza from the ” awesome twosome!!”

Un-gracefully knocked off from the Melbourne Beats forum thread.
After a year between drinks for the Bassoids Crew since Technical Itch and Dylan tore Melbourne to pieces in Sept ‘04, we are bringing direct to Melbourne for their first ever Australian tour, Raiden and Robyn Chaos - we call it the ‘Anger Obsession Tour’.
Raiden is the genius behind ‘Infection’ and ‘Fallin’ which are among his many other releases on labels such as Renegade Hardware, Freak Recordings and Outbreak to name a few. He is a resident DJ at the legendary Renegade Hardware nights at ‘The End’ in London and regularly appears at the monthly Therapy Sessions in London whilst jet setting across the world. He has just launched his own label called Off-Key which is designed to “Bridge the gap between Techno and Drum n Bass……. bringing new life to both genres and broadening horizons”.
Robyn Chaos has many roles. She is the founder of Anger Management (which oversees such artists as Dylan, Tech Itch, Dieselboy, Hive and many more). She co-organises the infamous ‘Therapy Sessions’ which is a Mecca to the darkside fans of Drum n Bass and she also DJ’s to audiences across the globe. In her, what you can call spare time, she has written tunes ‘Requiem’ and the massive hit ‘Possession’ to name but a few.

Kulture is a ezine/blog desiccated to the Melbourne scene for Jungle/D&B/Street art & Graff since they are all related, it’s all street culture.
Ask anyone who has lived in Melbourne for anytime and loves their music, they will tell you that Melbourne has one of the maddest scenes for music, ditto for street art & graff. So much so that you can dedicate a whole ezine/blog to it which is exactly what I am going (well at least attempt) to do.
First and foremost Kulture will provide a place where you can check all up and coming gigs via the event clander. Kulture will also provide news, reviews and interviews, and a photo blog section for street art/graff.
