Like intergalactic adventurers, Concord Dawn has blazed a trail through the drum n bass universe, catalysing the international DnB explosion of recent years. Forging a signature style from early on, the duo have always favoured an unpretentious, tech-heavy sound infused with a good measure of musicality and melody that is unapologetically geared towards maximum dancefloor destruction. Matthew Harvey and Evan Short - top producers, A-list DJs, trend-setting breakbeat scientists, drum n bass Jedi Knights-elect and masters of Star Wars trivia. Once upon a time, Goldie may have christened the young J.Majik the ‘Luke Skywalker of drum n bass’ but with Concord Dawn, you know the Force is strong in this one.

A veteran of the drum&bass and dubstep arenas, MC Youthman has been hyping crowds from Paris to Tokyo for over TEN years. In recent times, this French MC has become equally known worldwide for his DJ sets and production skills – releasing tracks through respected major labels such as BINGO, Virgin, DMC and TroubleOnVinyl.

Youthman became a household name in the French drum&bass scene as the originator of the Central Massive: a DJ/Producer collective including Redeyes, Brooks, Peyo, AudioUnit, Youthstar and Little J.

Drum&Bass heads fell in love with this energetic MC during his long-term residency as the national MC for Paris’ biggest Jungle party, I Love Jungle.

Youthman has been making waves ever since, sharing the stage with some of the most respected players in the underground music business: Andy C+Shimon (RAM), Dom & Roland (MOVING SHADOW), Marcus Intalex (SOUL R), Adam F (KAOS), J.Majik (INFRARED), Bad Company (BAD COMPANY), Friction, Wildchild, Jamalski (RUFFNECK REALITY, ZULU NATION, NY),Pendulum, Jenna G+Zinc (BINGO) and DJ Marky (INNERGROUND)- just to name a few!

The records of Youthman have been spun and praised both on the radio waves and in the clubs by the likes of: DJ Hype(True Playaz Rec/UK)on his Kiss FM show, DJ Andy C, DJ Craze, Pendulum and LDouble on BBC 1-XTRA. In recent times, he has been producing Hip Hop, Grime and Dubstep for multinational labels like Virgin and Sony. It’s clear that this Central Massif warrior is on a musical mission to spread his love for the bass and the drum in ALL its forms.
